4. Data Retention and Deletion

• Active Accounts: We retain your data as long as your account is active
• Deleted Summaries: Summaries moved to trash are retained for 7 days, then permanently deleted
• Account Deletion: Upon account deletion, all personal data is immediately removed from our systems
• Legal Compliance: Certain data may be retained for up to 5 years as required by Korean Electronic Commerce Act (transaction records, contract details, payment information)
• Server Cache: Summary cache on our servers may be retained for performance optimization but contains no personal identifiers

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
• Secure authentication using JWT tokens
• Regular security audits and updates
• Access controls and monitoring
